Typically, I shared my "Free Discovery Session" booking link to prospects with a free consult to review their website or their marketing funnels.
We all have offered free consulting sessions, right?
It wasn’t until I shared my "Discovery Call" strategy method with my business coach did I realize why it was not working! A few years ago the "Discovery Call" was the thing everyone was doing!
I thought I was attracting people by giving away “free consults” but really – I was pushing them away!
Fast forward to today, the success rate for bookings, “free consult session” or a “free discovery session" is much lower. It's because it sounds like another sales call, not very inviting, and it doesn't convey any benefits to attending a call with you.
Here's the secret! You want to package your consultation sessions into something that sounds more interesting… result driven… a little more irresistible so your prospects think "This is what I'm looking for or I need that now!"
